CGMP refers to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the FDA. CGMPs provide for systems that assure proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities. Adherence to the CGMP regulations assures the identity, strength, quality, and purity of drug products by requiring that manufacturers of medications adequately control manufacturing operations. This includes establishing strong quality management systems, obtaining appropriate quality raw materials, establishing robust operating procedures, detecting and investigating product quality deviations, and maintaining reliable testing laboratories.

Plant People works with a group of practitioners to formulate all products. These practitioners include Acupuncturists, Osteopaths, Naturopaths, Chiropractors, P.h.Ds and Medical Doctors. Working with trusted professionals ensures that all products are rooted in efficacy. 

FDA registration ensures trust, traceability and professionalism in all parts of manufacturing.  Registration requires documentation for products being manufactured and supplied. These documents usually discuss more specific products or issues that relate to the design, production, labeling, promotion, manufacturing, and testing of regulated products. Guidance documents may also relate to the processing, content, and evaluation or approval of submissions as well as to inspection and enforcement policies.

Organic certification ensures that certified products adhere to practices dictated by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), which ensures a more sustainable, healthful grow and production. Organic certification requires that farmers and handlers document their processes and get inspected every year. Organic on-site inspections account for every component of the operation, including, but not limited to, seed sources, soil conditions, crop health, weed and pest management, water systems, inputs, contamination and commingling risks and prevention, and record-keeping. Tracing organic products from start to finish is part of the USDA organic promise.

Our vegan seal ensures that each product is free of any animal product. This means they are dairy-free, egg free, and do not contain any animal components or byproducts. This also ensures that there is no animal testing used in any ingredient included in any product that Plant People produces. The result is a cruelty free, animal testing free, animal byproduct free prodcut.
