Recipe

Recipe: Pineapple Mint Margarita

Recipe: Pineapple Mint Margarita

Written By: Emily Spring

Give this warm-weather classic an unexpected tropical twist with pineapple juice, a whisper of fresh mint, and mezcal. Substitute tequila for the mezcal if you’re not a fan of tequila’s smoky sister spirit.

Enhance the relaxation factor with a dose of Plant People’s Mind + Body CBD Drops. The soft flavor of these organic CBD drops won’t interrupt the concert of tastes in your glass. If you’re feeling spicy, add a few slices of jalapeno!

Ingredients: (Makes 1 cocktail)

2 oz mezcal (or tequila)
1 oz pineapple juice
½ oz lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
½ tsp fresh mint leaves
A few slices of jalapeno (optional)
1 ml Plant People Mind + Body CBD Drops
Ice
Lime wedge, pineapple wedge, mint spring for garnish

Instructions:

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle together all of the ingredients and shake with ice (now’s the time to grab your to-go coffee mug or mason jar if you don’t have a cocktail shaker).
  • Strain and pour into a glass with ice.
  • Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge, lime wedge, and sprig of mint.
